A little world, a big welcome — 11.ai Welcome Friends · Ages 5–10 Ready, little explorers? Welcome, friends! Ready for a tiny Minecraft adventure? Today we have one big question: what makes a world feel like home? Imagine standing beside our castle sign. It says, Welcome Friends. Wiggle your fingers like little blocks. We are going on a trip from colorful towers to a peaceful lake. You can listen with your eyes closed, or look at the world pictures on our page. Let's go! Pick your favorite tower Look up! Our castle has bright towers and patterned flags. Which color would you choose for your own tower? Pick one now. Inside are bedrooms, a kitchen, a library and a dining hall. Imagine a dinner party where every guest brings something square. Square sandwiches? A block of cake? Outside, Rainbow Town has twelve houses in different colors. Lights and iron golems help look after the town. Clear weather around our favorite places helps us see those lovely colors. A welcoming home can be big or small. The important part is making room for a friend. Three helpful things Follow the lantern road. One way takes us to Lantern Bay and the Lantern Inn. Another leads toward the farm and lake. A smaller trail heads to a mine with an underground dungeon. We can save that big adventure for another day. Today, our mission is to spot three things that help other people. We have already found a welcome sign. That's one! What do you think the next one will be? A little help at the farm At Willowbrook Farm, wheat, carrots, potatoes and beetroot grow in the fields. There are pumpkins and melons too. Imagine the gate going click behind you. Close gates gently when you visit. Nell cares for cows, Ollie for pigs, Sage for sheep, Pip for chickens and Ash for donkeys. Sage uses shears to collect real wool. Pip picks up eggs. They bring produce to a shared chest. That's our second helpful thing! The workers need supplies and someone nearby for steady walking. They pause when storage is full. They do not make endless baby animals. Some animals have wandered beyond their pens, so looking after the farm is still a project. What small job would you enjoy? A splash by the pier Next stop: Willow Lake! Imagine a little splash beside the wooden pier. There is a fishing hut, a boat landing and a ladder out of the water. That's helpful thing number three. Can you remember all three? The sign, the shared chest and the ladder! Rod catches can have names like Silver Minnow, Lake Trout and Golden Carp. Golden Carp is rare, so catching one is a surprise, not a promise. Named rod catches are separate from swimming fish. Fenn has his own fishing job: supplied with seed bait and a rod, he can collect a plain fish at most once every two minutes while his area is loaded. No endless fish fountain here! The four-bread puzzle Back at Rainbow Market, Milo trades with emeralds. Players can sell some crops, eggs, wool and plain fish. They can buy bread, seeds and tools. Here's a little market puzzle. One emerald can buy four bread from Milo. You share them equally with one friend. How many does each of you get? Take a moment. Two each! Keep your named collectible fish for the fishing journal. And remember, a market is more fun when everyone gets a turn. Your tiny building challenge Our world keeps its Creative and Peaceful setup. You can build, explore and make up your own little adventures. Try a tiny challenge next time: choose a flag you like, replant one crop, and show a friend somewhere new. There is no prize you have to win. The fun is noticing things together. If something needs fixing, that can become your next building idea. Even a little path can make a big difference. Leave a little welcome So, what makes a world feel like home? Maybe it is your favorite color. Maybe it is a helpful ladder, or a chest where people share. Or maybe it is the friend walking beside you. We started with two words: Welcome Friends. Let's leave those words in every kind thing we build. Thanks for exploring with me. This has been Welcome Friends. Until our next little adventure, keep building, keep wondering, and leave a little welcome behind.
